THE VILLAGE PROJECT | ACTION
One in three children in South Africa is considered stunted in growth.
Out of relationship with our community at InVia, The Village Project was born to combat childhood stunting sparked by the aftershock of the Covid-19 pandemic. The aim was not only to combat hunger in South Africa, but to ensure all the NECESSARY NUTRIENTS are in each meal we feed our children.
The Inani StartWell Foundation, founded by Org and Yolandi van der Wath (part of our InVia community), developed an innovative way to address and monitor early child development by introducing a project called “The Village Project” - to equip, educate and support independent teams within their own communities.
InVia Community is directly involved in the strategic growth of this Project and through various relationships, we are enrolling 'The Villiage Project' on a national scale.
InVia community also took responsibility for three cheches in Eersterivier and Kayamandi in the Western Cape.
