School of Transformation @ Reddam, CT

"Ever feel like the guy who didn't grow up in church had a jump on the guy who did because there was so much to unlearn because our learning never brought transformation?  Well we totally understand.  We want to start having a learning event where we can talk about the starting point for a transformed life.  What is the ego or in Paul's words:' the old man'?  Is it bad or good?  What is the true self and false self? How do we became more like Christ?  How do practices help us live from a truer deeper self that God created in us?  

Understanding the ego, how it is formed, what of it is good, when it is bad, how do we know, and how is the true self, the image of God in us, different from the false self?....these are the topics we will be exploring.  Like all things at InVia lots of dialogue will happen.  But this night is more informational than many of the experiences we host.  Not all people learn through information and question and answer formats.  But for those of you that want new information, want to be challenged to think fresh, and want to delve more deeply into the spiritual life this is the night for you.  This will be the first in a series of learning events designed to built a solid and substantial foundation under you for your personal and spiritual development.  I am really looking forward to it!
